Toning-up my stomach without abdominal exercises?
I'm trying to tone up (and possibly lose a pound or two), and normally I'd do 100 or so sit-ups and a bit of yoga each day to get myself back into shape.
The problem is, I can't currently bend or walk very well. I had a Mirena coil put in last week, and it's caused me a lot of pain and debilitation.
So I can't do any sit-ups or similar, and I can't run (I can only just about walk at the moment).
Any ideas?!
Rest first.
There's no sense in working out if its going to hurt you.
Work towards a full recovery.
Abdominal work requires use of abdominal and core muscles — you can't do it without hurting yourself. Perhaps swimming and concentrating in hip motion to propel a freestyle stroke.
